Principal Message

Pleasure to associate University College of Technology, Osmania University (UCTOU), the institution with versatile academic programs of industrial importance and engaged in imparting training the technocrats focused on processing strategies. Over the years of long standing as one of premier engineering educational institution, the College has expanded and grown by leaps and bounds and produced its proud alumni that has excelled in various fields and levels of profession with dispersed to cover all over the world.

With established excellence in teaching, training and research in Process Technologies covering Chemical Engineering and its allied Technologies such as Food, Textile, Pharma and Biotechnologies at the Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate, Doctoral levels, the college has been a nodal centre to establish and monitor many such institutions under jurisdiction of Osmania University in the state of Telangana.

The college always attracted funding agencies to strengthen its academics and research infrastructure by orienting its academic research projects towards identified focused thrust areas. The indoctrinated culture of overcoming hardships to safeguard the academic excellence and sustained research thrust of faculty members by overcoming the challenges has enabled the establishment of new programs while continued the journey to upkeep its legacy and it is being the motivation to head this institution yet again in the capacity of its Principal.

 The faculty efforts of practicing diversity of scientific potential and formulating the demand driven research projects in the field of process intensification and green process technologies are prioritized. The established Centres of Excellence such as Centre for Intensification of Chemical and Bio Processes and the Centre for Green process Technologies are with the objectives to introduce, promote and popularize the concept of Process Intensification and green processing techniques through thematic areas in Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Nano Technology, Pharma and Biotechnology.

I feel proud to serve this esteemed institution to upkeep its tradition and legacy with efforts to overcome limitations and bring in the environment of ensured success in both academic and research outcomes.
